HIGH EFFICIENCY WATER HEATER FOR RURAL INDUSTRIES

REQUIREMENT

Rural food industries in India require hot water for food processing like boiling, blanching, steeping etc. Fuel costs are a major cost addition in the process and are expensive and sometimes difficult for procuring. A water heater was designed ensuring a very large surface area of contact with flue gases and fire ensuring quick and efficient heating of water. The geometry of the contact area is such that the water convection currents ensure rapid contact with the heating surface. Hot water is directly used in several processes and additional heating is done as required. The whole system is designed in stainless steel and withstands corrosion to ensure long life.

Hot water can also be used in several ;processes like textile dying, silk reeling, washing utensils, etc.
